Your password vault opens with a tap, not a hardware key you have to plug in
SecureGate Card unlocks with the RFID or NFC card, key fob or sticker you choose, read by a USB reader or your phone. No hardware security key to buy. Your email and master password always work too.
How the card works
Link any 125 kHz card or fob (EM4100-style) or any 13.56 MHz card, sticker or wristband (MIFARE, NTAG, ICODE/ISO 15693, FeliCa) to your account, and link as many as you like. A USB reader reads both kinds; your phone reads 13.56 MHz only. The first time on a new device you also enter your PIN; after that the device is trusted and a tap is enough.
RFID card
Tap any compatible card or key fob on a USB reader. On a device you’ve trusted, that’s all it takes.
NFC on your phone
Link an NFC card or tag to your account and tap it with your phone to open the app.
Why a card instead of a USB security key
A security key like a YubiKey needs a free USB port or NFC, and it costs money. SecureGate Card works like a building keycard: tap a card you already own. The difference with a keycard is that it’s paired with a PIN on every new device, so a copied card ID isn’t enough to get in.
What happens if you lose the card
Lose the card and you deactivate it from the panel — the vault stays yours, the card doesn’t. Whoever finds it still needs your PIN or one of your trusted devices. You keep signing in with your email and master password, or another card or tag you’ve linked.
Use a card you already have
You don’t need to buy anything from us: use a card, fob or NFC sticker you already have, or start with just your email and master password and add a card later from your account.
